I need a second opinion.

Ok, so it hit me. Gorillaz cosplay. Genius. Thought it'd be a fun-n-easy sort of cosplay that was more character than looks.

Obviously some other people thought it would be fun too. Heh heh, glad I found you guys. It'd good to know I'm not the only person who has considered this. And what lovely cosplayers each of you guys are, too! Wonderful, wonderful cosplays!

So perhaps a few of you could help me with my current delimma.

I don't want to just hop out there and claim my favorite character, because I want to be sure that I can pull it off.

So I'm merely just asking for opinions... Who should I cosplay? I'm not exactly looking at Noodle as a possibility because I'm really tall and... not as cute. I'm looking more at Murdoc and 2D, but if you think I'd make a fine Russel, then... whatever.

So who thinks they can give me a hand?

Here's some really random pics from last week. Me and my brother were screwing around with my camera and some pretty goofy pictures erupted... so take a look and tell me what you think. :D (And I know the last one's blurry, but I think it shows some potential for 2D-ish hair.)

(World's fakest cigg. xD)

you'd make a fine 2-d.
Yay! Someone replied!

Thanks. :D
Oh my god, you've got a lovely jawline *___* *envies*!! Definitely I can see you as both Murdoc and 2-D, so I think do whichever you feel comfortable with. :) I cosplay a lot, and I think body language plays a big part in it!

But the most important thing, HAVE FUN :DDDD Can't wait to see your costummme!
Oh. O_O Wow. Compliments. *shock*

Wow, thanks! <3 I don't cosplay so much, but I act a good bit, so I understand the whole body language thing is important. I've seen a good many great costumes, but it's like... sort of empty without the character behind them sometimes. I definitely don't want to come off like that- but luckily, I think I could pull off either (and now that you've said that too, I'm feeling a little more like it). But honestly, I don't know which to choose. I feel like Murdoc would be a little funner if I was with a group, seeing as he's not exactly the most recognizable character (which might be what makes cosplaying Gorillaz sort of hard, because they don't really have 'costumes' as much as certain styles of clothing). But marching around in a uniform or with my bass strapped on might be fun too. Yet I think I got a pretty cool idea for 2-D, and I think some people who recognize it might get a few laughs outta it.

So I donno. :/ Sort of... stuck. I wish some of my friends were into Gorillaz- it'd definitely be fun to go as a group, and probably a little easier to decide.

As soon as I decide I might start building the costume now so that by Halloween I could have a sort of test run with it and improve from there.

Anywho- long rant that was! D: Thanks for replying. :DDD

And- btw- you guys were awesome. <3

I think you should do 2-D, your facial structure is right for it and you can work your hair easily with it. I think youd look great. ^,.,^
Really? Awesome! Thank you so much. <3

I think I have decided on 2-D, simply because running around as a solo Muds seems a little... boring? Yeah. Boring.

But goofing off as a 2-D with some of my friends seems funner. He's a little more... recognizable. (*cough* blue hair *cough*)

Thanks for the comment! :)
I know this an old post but, thats what I'll be doing in September.
Running around as Muds that is.
You are the complete opposite of me with the attention wanting.
Its my first real con and I'm semi afraid of the stalkers. xD
My friend is going as Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo so we got the demon thing going for us I guess. :)
